Is there any way to hide the directions tab from the info bubble of each icon? I don't need it.

You can do it from the map settings page.
- Click the "Cog" settings icon located above the maps list dropdown box.
- Un-select the box next to "Display directions tab on InfoBubble"
- Click save.
- Click "My Maps" on the top menu.
The "Directions" tab will not be available on any icon on any map.
