Sometimes I move them by accident and do not wish this to happen. Is there any way to avoid this issue?

This is a great question.
Yes, you can prevent icon drag. Click the global map settings icon located on the right side of the map.
and un-check the" Enable icon dragging (move the pin to another location)" option. Click save.
That's all.
