Once you have created a map and added one or more pins you can click the "Share Map" button from the map toolbars.

The share a map dialog opens with a link that will point back to your map. 

Share the resulting link by email or use any of the social buttons. The link will be conveniently embedded in the social sharing button.

Just that simple.
